The company sold twelve pairs of Vans #44 Deck on that first morning. Now known as the Vans Warped Tour, the concert series is the longest-running in the USA. The very next year, Vans sponsored the first-ever Triple Crown of Skateboarding event. Today, the Vans Triple Crown Series includes boarding, motocross, and BMX events.
